At the world's highest active volcano, and then off to MOunt Chimborazo where David falls on his ass!!!

OK, outside of Quito, Ecuador I did a 2 day biking/trekking excursion to Cotopaxi, which is the world's highest active volcano, and on the 2nd day, we went to Mount Chimborazo. Mount Chimborazo, if measured from the Earth's center, is the highest place in the world. Mount Everest is the highest place on Earth if measured from sea level. The lack of oxygen in the air was almost too much. I had a raging headache as a result of it, and was forever out of breath.

i didn't go NEAR the guinea pig. But it's like MAJOR in the indigenous communities. It used to be used by the shamans to detect illness in a person. Supposedly a guinea pig has its vital organs in the exact same place as we do. So the shaman grabs the guinea pig and brings it next to the sick person, and whatever is wrong with them is mirrored into the guinea pig, then they slice the guinea pig to see what the problem with the patient is.
